We are posting a lot of new and fun knit hats for the Spring. I've told you before that I am a penny pincher, so we are always looking for ways to use our products that will increase their use. One of the things that Julie does is to "Lace" out knit hats. If you buy a hat that is not specifically for a newborn, you can still use it for newborns. We take a yarn and string it through the back of the hat like you would a shoe or a corset. By doing this, you don't have to use pins. We always worry about pins detaching, so this is a safer way to expanding the size range of your knit hat. Here is an example of a hat that Julie did this with. Can you even tell it is for sizes 6-18 months? We love clever! (This hat is shown with the grey Cuddle Throw, sold separately)
